Optimizing a cyclic propagator

Is it possible to optimize an effective propagator using the optimal control module?

If I want to optimize a cyclic propagator (unit matrix), is it feasible to define the problem in Spinach?

Yes, you can specify multiple initial conditions and multiple target states. Essentially, specify every state that's important (or simply just every possible initial state) and its corresponding destination, and Spinach would design a pulse that sends those states to their respective destinations.
