elexsys2deernet.m

Convert Bruker Elexsys data sets into DeerNet input format. Adapted from DeerAnalysis package. The DEER signal is read from the .DTA file and the time axis is reconstructed using parameters read from the accompanying .DSC file. The DEER signal is trimmed to ensure that the maximum occurs at t=0.

Syntax

    [deer_trace,time_axis]=elexsys2deernet(file)

Arguments

    file        - file name of the Bruker dataset, both the *.DSC 
	          and *.DTA files are required. Extension names are
		  assumed.

Outputs

    deer_trace  - the real experimental DEER trace, as a column 
		  vector.

    time_axis   - experimental time axis, as a column vector
		  in microseconds.

Notes

The *.DSC and *.DTA files must both be available in the MATLAB path.
