Redfield theory expressions for dipolar relaxation and cross-relaxation rates, isotropic tumbling in liquid phase. Spin-1/2 particles only at this point.

Syntax

    [r1,r2,rx]=rlx_dip(B0,spins,dist,tau_c)

Parameters

   B0     - magnet field, Tesla

   spins  - the spins involved, e.g. {'1H','15N'}

   dist   - inter-spin distance, Angstrom

   tau_c  - rotational correlation time, seconds

Outputs

   r1     - two longitudinal relaxation rates, Hz

   r2     - two transverse relaxation rates, Hz

   rx     - longitudinal cross-relaxation rate, Hz

Examples

For a carbon-proton pair in a small protein:

 >> [r1,r2,rx]=rlx_dip(14.1,{'1H','13C'},1.5,1e-9)

 r1 =  0.1791    0.6162

 r2 =  1.2216    1.0031

 rx = -0.0462
