summary_modes.m

Prints bosonic mode parameter summary for a Spinach system. The function prints the user-supplied header and then a table with one row per particle whose comp.types entry is 'C', 'V' or 'T'; all other particles are skipped, so only bosonic modes appear. Each row gives the particle number, the mode name from comp.isotopes, the mode type spelled out as 'cavity' for 'C', 'phonon' for 'V' and 'transmon' for 'T', the number of levels from comp.mults, and then the mode frequency, the anharmonicity, the damping rate and the dephasing rate taken from inter.modes.frqs, inter.modes.anharms, inter.modes.damp and inter.modes.dephase. All four rates are printed in Hz, obtained by dividing the internally stored rad/s values by 2*pi. Printing goes through report.m. create.m calls this function with the header 'bosonic mode summary' when bosonic modes are present.

Syntax

    summary_modes(spin_system,header)

Parameters

spin_system - Spinach spin system description object

header - a string of text to precede the summary

Outputs

this function prints to the console or to the user-specified
    output via report.m function

Notes

Bosonic modes are declared alongside spins in the isotope list and parameterised in the inter.modes input block; see the bosonic modes part of the spin system specification.
