save_vstore.m
Saves the current parallel pool ValueStore into a Matlab file. The snapshot contains keys and values only; callback functions are session-local and are not stored.
A parallel pool must already be running: the pool is obtained with gcp('nocreate') and an error is thrown when there is none. The keys of the pool ValueStore are read with keys(), the corresponding values are retrieved in a single get() call, and the two are written to the destination file as the key_set and val_set variables in the -v7.3 MAT format. When the store holds no keys, val_set is written as an empty cell array of the same size as key_set.
Syntax
save_vstore(file_name)
Parameters
file_name - a character string specifying the destination
MAT file
Notes
The snapshot written here is the file format read back by load_vstore.m, which expects the key_set and val_set variables.
